The Azalea Trails of Tyler

Well, Lance and I finally finished our backyard. Yeah, you're right, we wish!! This weekend marked the 5oth anniversary of the Azalea & Spring Flower Trail. There is a historic part of Tyler with older AMAZING homes, and every year there are about 7 different homes that are part of the Azalea district that open up their Garden's for the public to walk through. These are honestly some of the most beautiful, well put together gardens I have ever seen. Flowers are not my expertise, but Azalea's are GORGEOUS! I know most of you think of roses when you think of Tyler, but roses pale in comparison to Azaleas when the new blooms come out in the Spring. I mean they have a district of homes that are named after the flower! Everyone's homes are just about full of Azaleas, and I just love them!! Here are some pics of the tour. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Now that is A LOT of Azaleas!

An up close look at the beauties!

Just a cute little house.
